
Officer Positions
President
The President is the public voice of the organization both in and outside of meetings. Leads and manages the rest of the officers while supporting them in any tasks that need to be fulfilled. Oversees the organization's internal operations and administrative functions. Maintains duties pertaining to paperwork and email with the Vice President, while also delegating tasks to other officers.
Vice President - Internal
The Vice President - Internal serves as acting president in the absence of the President. Oversees the organization's internal operations and administrative functions. Supports officers and members in carrying out their resposibilites. Collaborates with the Vice President to plan and execute workshops and professional development events.
Vice President - External
Serve as the public voice of the organization in the absence of the President. Lead recruitment efforts through events, presentations, and outreach campaigns. Provide resources and guidance regarding healthcare careers and graduate education. Develop and coordinate mentorship opportunities for members.
Secretary
Maintains calendar of events. Keeps track of email list and signing up new members. Keeps a headcount of meeting attendance. Keeps updated sheet of all member points and attendance for events. Create all forms and documents related to attendance or meetings.
Treasurer
Maintains finances. Reports bank statements when necessary for event planning. Makes financial transparency reports to members. Orders stoles, cords, and t-shirts for the organization with the merch coordinator each semester.
Historian
Document and preserve all organizational events, meetings, and activities through photos and records. Create weekly recaps highlighting events, announcements, and member involvement. Develop content for social media and promotional materials to advertise Womxn in Medicine.
Fundraising Coordinators
Coordinate with restaurants for fundraisers. Manage fundraising point tracking and verification. Will plan and set up and attend all WIM’s fundraisers with partner’s assistance. Fundraise at least twice a month for the organization. With at least one off-campus and one on campus per month, not including Best Fest and Fiesta.
Service Coordinators
Identify and secure external organizations for volunteer collaborations each semester. Organize and coordinate volunteer opportunities for members. Track member participation in all service activities. Maintain records of internal and external volunteer sites. Assist the Experiential Learning Coordinator with updating the events calendar.
Social Coordinator
Plan, set up, and attend most, if not all, events that count as a social point.Working alongside Internal Events Coordinator for social collaborations with other organizations. Create/review associated event Google formsAssist in promoting Womxn in Medicine through tabling and outreach events.
Experiential Learning Coordinator
Searches for speakers for general meetings and events. Plans educational and fulfilling events for members. Reaches out to student organizations for possible collaborations. Assist in promoting Womxn in Medicine through tabling and outreach events.
Merch Coordinator
Place the orders for WIM t-shirts, graduation merch, and other merch we will offer with the treasurer. Conducting research on merchandise opportunities and create possible designs. Keeping in contact with distributors used for fundraising. Works with Historian to advertise WIM.

General Meeting 4
After our Fourth General Meeting, officer applications will open and will be sent out via & listed on our linktree. The application has multiple positions to choose from to ensure members have a wide-range of opportunities to apply to.
APPLICATIONS CLOSE
General Meeting 5
Applications close at 11:59 p.m. on the night of our fifth General Meeting. No exceptions will be made to any attempts to submit an application past the due date.
APPLICATION GRADING + IINTERVIEWS + DECISIONS SENT OUT
Between GM5 and End of Semester Celebration
An anonymous grading process of the applications will take place with selected applicants being invited to the next round of applications (interviews). Interviews are conducted by the President and Vice-Presidents, as well as select officers. An extensive amount of measures and procedures transpire to make sure the selection process is fair and unbiased. After the interview process, decisions will be sent out shortly after.

New officers will be announced to members at the End of Semester Celebration.

Selection is never based on bias or personal preference; it is grounded entirely in merit, demonstrated commitment, and the substance each applicant brings to the role.
