POINT CATEGORIES
General Meetings
General meetings provide important organizational updates and feature guest speakers who share insights on healthcare careers, professional school pathways, and personal experiences in medicine. It is required to attend three general meetings to fulfill the point requirement for this category for active membership.
Experiental Learning Events
Experiential learning events offer hands-on opportunities that allow members to explore healthcare skills, professional environments, and real-world applications of medicine. It is required to attend three experiental learning events to fulfill the point requirement for this category for active membership.
Fundraising Events
Fundraising events support the organization’s initiatives while teaching members the importance of advocacy, resource-building, and sustainability in healthcare-focused programs. It is required to contribute to three fundraising events to fulfill the point requirement for this category for active membership.
Organizational Advancement
Organizational advancement points allow WIM to keep growing and improving. These points can be accomplished by reposting specific instagram flyer activities or filling out feed back forms. It is required to complete three of these activities to fulfill the point requirement for this requirement for active membership.
Course Reviews
A WIM active member exclusive resource that provides important and useful feedback over professors and courses. It is required to sumbit three course reviews to fulfill the point requirement for this category for active membership.

Paid member status will get you a t-shirt. Attending certain events as a non paid member such as the involvement fair, socials, general meetings, and experiential activities may include the possibility of merchandise (stickers, bracelets, t-shirts, and more). *Events will indicate if merchandise is involved

CORDS/STOLES
Active Members ONLY
After completing two semester as an active member, the member can qualify for a cord upon graduation. After completing another two semesters (four semesters), the member will qualify for a cord and stole upon graduation.
